Suspension ????? 25" slicks fitment
i have a 97 civic hatch with stock front end and 25x9 slicks on exospeed lenso's and I am in the market for some good suspension that will support this tire without any trimming of the fender or bumper and will no rub under heavy breaking at the end of a pass . BTW this is a street/strip car. I was thinking about the strange but found out that shock body is to short and would bottom out on the street so any suggestions????????
i really need something more street friendly i know the omni drags will be to stiff, not sure about the blox, does anyone have this tire setup on some skunk2 pro C's or what about the progress stuff that danny just started running?
Most suspension setups will work for you as long as they are adjusted up almost as far as they can go. The pro c's are way too much money and not worth it, making your suspension more streetable is really going to take away from your times at the track. If this car isnt a daily driver just put the drag suspension on it and call it a day
its deff. not a daily driver and i am leaning more towards the progress suspension does anyone have experience with this stuff? Is it worth spending the money for it vs say the omni or blox?

I have blox w/ V2 Comp wheels and MH25s. They rub really bad on the (vertical arm) I had to grind the crap out of mine and they still run slightly. However the lensos are offset 5mm more. Meaning they are not as close to the arm, they are also 1/2 an inch narrower so i think youll be fine. I am really considering switching back to lensos.
do these rub the fenders when you slam the brakes at the end of a pass? and did you scale your car before you bought the D2 stuff for custom valving and spring rate or did you just order something standard off the shelf?
Ground Control/Koni's here. The front is raised all the way up and I think they rub the fenders a little bit during the burnout but thats all.
^^ The opening on the teg I believe is a bit larger than that of the 92-00 civic. The track I go to is rather rough in the braking area and those 2 cars posted up would probably rub there, we have plenty of experience in shredding slicks.
sweetfwdthunder's integra rub's in the shutdown area of our track. Our's is also pretty bumpy in the shutdown. He might have been confused when he said in the burnout box...
