b15b2, yea i know.. anyways, car has been cranking longer and longer lately, it was about 15-20 sec until it started just now, i think i smell gas also and it has a unsteady/hunting idle when it does start, runs great other than that tho. where should i start looking for this problem?

 

Could be the fuel filter or fuel pump.

 

negative, car runs great when fuel demand is high ie: high load, high throttle position.
im smelling gas as well so fuel supply does not seem to be an issue

 

Fouled spark plugs? bad ignition timing?
