Default p30 pistons

ok so im putting p30 piston in a b18a block the complete rebuild kit for it is like 300$ the kit says it will fit from b16a all the way up to gsr or whatever so does that mean all those motors use the same bearings? and if i have to get the block bored or honed will the machine shop tell me what size pistons i need as in 82mm or oversize?

p30 only comes in 81.25 and 81.50 oversize and if cylinder walls are dirty or damaged, get it rehoned.. you should let a shop install all the internals. ur getting higher compression so upgrade bearings and rod bolts, ARP and ACL bearings so it can be reliable.

Ok that's what the kit comes with is acl bearings. And the cylinder wall are rusty at the top so I was just gonna get it bored. Anyone know of a good place to buy the oversized pistons? I was goin with boring so I don't have to worry about p2w clearance and havin a noisy motor.

P30 pistons are available in STD 81mm bore as well.

I think bearings for B18A/B18B motors are different than bearings for B18C motors. I have a set of ACL bearings right here in my shop and they strictly say B18A/B on them with no mention of fitment for the B16A/B18C motors...

inlinefour.com should have new and used ones for cheap, also JHPUSA.com
for reliablity get some ARP rod bolts so your piston wont shoot out the block, thats what happens when you get higher compression on stock weak internals.
check this out just in case:
