hey honda-tech,
so i've searched and searched and have yet to find the answer i'm looking for.
i have a 2000 dc2, it's at the body shop right now getting the engine bay painted, once i get it back i have decided to get rid of my abs. so my question is, can you guys give me the run down of parts that i'm going to need. running spoon calipers by the way.
thanks in advance.

if your set on deleting abs, which is dumb btw, then you will need the 2 front lines that run from the mc to the prop valve, the 2 that run from the prop valve to the front brakes and a 40/40 prop valve from a rs. a 92-95 civic prop valve is the same. since you are using spoon calipers, i would sugest a 1in itr mc. then you will have to get custom or braided lines to run from the mc to the prop valve.
why del the abs? keep it or relocate it. i put mine under the dash and ran hardline. i still have heat and you can keep a/c if you want as well. just need to remove one bracket and it all fits.

I've been on this subject for a long time. There has never been a complete and official explanation for one thing:
No one has ever come up with a remedy for the State Inspection side of things. You see, with 96+ models we are checked via the Datalink connector, and with the ABS being removed we will have issues.
Is there a remedy here on this issue?
