ok im planning on doing a disc brake converison on my 92 dx hatch. im going to upgrade to the gsr front and rear brakes. since my brake booster is leaking can i go with a 94-01rs m/c and booster? also will i need to modify anything for the front spindles to fit with the k swap?

GRS brakes are a 32mm bolt housing(for cv axels) just like your dx front brakes. you will need at least a 15in wheel to clear the caliper. the booster/master cylinder will work fine also, just bleed your brakes thoroughly. do the usual, make sure the new brakes are not warped, the spindles are good, ect. everything else bolts right up. think about replacing your front ball joints while they are out.

you can put the complete setup off a 99si. you will need the ebrake cables and use your lca off your 93 hatch. alot of people say swap the proportioning valve also, but it is commonly disputed whether you need to or not so it is up to you. just properly bleed your lines.

Proportioning valve - the drum rears come with a 30/30.... Disc rears come with a 40/40. like i said, it is widely debated whether you need to or not, if you have it you might as well swap it, if you dont have it, you dont need to worry.

brake cables are attached to drums or disc, just be sure to unbolt completely, and you may get a set with ABS plugs which you can just disregard. reattach brake cables from the SI and adjust your ebrake.

You dont need to swap the master cylinder, but if you are in the market to replace it, replace it with an Integra RS or GSR NON ABS.

should be it.

you can keep your dx brakes, if you upgrade to ls, GSR or Prelude, you will need atleast a 15 in wheel.

It will swap readily, just unbolt and swap the upper control arm (dont bother separating the upper ball joint unless you plan on replacing), get a ball joint separator for the tie rod end and the lower ball joint. the image below is what it looks like. place it between the ball joint and front lower control arm, and hit it so that it separates from the LCA. repeat for the tie rod end.

Do not use that pickle fork (above) if you plan to keep your ball joints. It will tear the dust boots..

You can get this one from Sears for $20. I used it to remove my upper and lower ball joints and tie-rod end. No issues.

They both seperate the joints but the one I posted is more friendly to the dust boots.
