94 accord D4 light problem!!
Bad VSS(Vehicule Speed Sensor), get one soon before the speedometer needle start to jump crazy and the tranny starts to slip.
i am having the same sort of problem! hello all, i have a 94 accord with a blinking d4 light and hard up shift in 1st gear pack(going from 0-20mph). also the engine revs up to 3-4 then drops back down past 2 after the hard jerking shift. this stumpps me because I was told there was a rebuilt tranny purchased; also it is only going up but not down.

Check engine light comes on for engine problems, you can pull codes.
D4 light blinks when there's a transmission problem, you can pull codes.
Essentially, it's the check engine light, but for the transmission. Pull codes as you normally would with key on, engine off, and see what the problem is.
OR
You can start replacing random **** as previously suggested in hopes that you'll change the right part.

Alright, I have a problem similar to this post so I'm going to give it a shot..
I have a 93 accord lx 2.2l Recently after the car is first turned on the D4 light is lit, there is what sounds like a relay energizing and de-energizing and the voltage going to the battery starts at 13v and tops out at 16.2v then I shut it off...The alternator (voltage regulator) are brand new, and the battery has a full charge. In looking at my schematics the one part I’ve narrowed it down to is the ICU (interlock control unit) any suggestions?
Oh and after about 1 minute of the car being on the D4 light will flicker to the beat of the relay sounding noise.
