Default Anyone find a good proximity sensor yet?

So I heard bad things about the DEI proximity sensor. Anyone find/using a proximity sensor that works correctly with no hiccups?

Thanks

The clifford dual zone one use to be pretty damn good. But now that they are owned by DEI I have no further experience.

The issues with proximity sensors is that they are not set and forget.
It depends on what climate your area sees and it typically takes 2 seasons of use to set them up. If I do one in the late spring I have them come back in mid fall to finalize the beam. Same principle for mid summer. The issue is the air density/humidity...it effects the beams radius (summer denser beam is compacted....winter less dense-beam spreads more). What may be perfect in mid July is horrendous in December (beam is now 15' away from car...your neighbors hate you)

I think thats exactly what happened to me. I set mine up in the summer time and during fall/winter, it would go off prematurely all the time. Maybe Ill give another stab at it. I have the AU94T.

Thanks all
