why is my gsr motor burning oil?

Default why is my gsr motor burning oil?

Ok so im a nubie to hondas and i just got a 94 eg with a gsr sawp it seemed fine for the first to times driving it but after that i looked in my rear view mirror and i see blue smoke(a lot of smoke) coming out of my exaust so i checked the compression and its good my question what all could it be?
by the way it only smokes out when you get on it if you drive fine there is no smoke.

x2 on the rings dont wait until they bust before getting them taken care of or you might have to tow it in...

have you done a leakdown test?

Try changing out the PCV valve. I had this on my GSR motor where the PCV was clogged, causing high crankcase pressure, pushing oil past the rings. I changed the PCV out and it stopped smoking. Worth a shot before rebuilding the motor.
