Default JDM 5 lugs

someone wants to trade me JDM 5 lugs for my usdm 5 lugs but i know the jdm 5 lugs use the 36mm axles and have to switch the outer part of the axles to make it 36 mm. what i was wondering was if i can just buy some axles from autozone that fits into b series and is 36 mm axles. i was thinking maybe the rsx axles on b series motor with JDM 5 lugs?

Why would someone want to do this trade? Is the other guy running a d-series?

You need regular b-series inners and Prelude/Accord/CRV outer joints.

no we both running b series. he has the jdm 5 lug and i have the usdm 5 lugs. what i want to know is, is there a way with out changing the outer joint to prelude/accord/crv. because i am gonna be running turbo on my car and i know i ll be breaking axles a lot and i dont want to keep changing the outer part everytime i do, i just wanna put a new axle on and go on with the day. is there an axle i can just buy and put it on my car with out changing the outer part with the JDM 5 lugs.

Then you shouldn't trade. I don't know why anyone would want to do this trade.

I believe that you can use early CRV axles. They are 36mm as well. No need to swap anything

I have JDM 36mm on my R and I bought a set of axles from Osaka JDM for about $200 bucks, you can use CR-V axles but I think they are slightly shorter or longer (can't remember).

the rotors are not bigger, they are the same. The front rims will stick out a few (3 iirc) mm's more though.

Brake size is the same. The only difference is the size of the hub or wheel bearing, can't remember which. Rotor size and caliper is the same.

Usually the guys with the JDM 5-lug have trouble finding axles. That being said, don't trade.

Yet another thread that has no business being here...

The funny part is the OP thinks this is a good trade.
