It's the only annoying noise my car makes and its not affecting performance, yet...

When I'm rolling very slowly - a few mph, with the clutch disengaged, stereo volume down, windows up, and i encounter a bump, such as rolling into a driveway or garage, the front end makes a low-pitched squeak noise, especially evident on the driver side. It's like a rubbery squeak.

Anyone else get this?

edit: forgot to mention, this is in the front of the car. i haven't heard it come from the rear.

I wouldn't worry about it.

 

Sway bar bushings? Could be anything.

 

if its a bushing, yeah, no big deal as long as performance doesnt degrade. if its a motor mount ...

 

Well, if it's a motor mount it should get worse as the rpms rise.

Plus...the car will make more and more noises as it gets older..

yeah i just don't like it. it gives the impression that something is loose, when the whole premise of the ITR is tight and crisp suspension

 

Well, I would seriously just try to get used to it.

 

i get something like that, like right when i start rolling after i start my car. i don't really think much of it, i just pretend my car's trying to talk to me
