Wrong.

Autotech was the US Distributor for Quaife, they dropped Quaife when they had a different company make the Wavetrac for them. Motovicity is now the US Distributor for Quaife. Wavetrac and Quaife are unrelated.

I would contact both Autotech (as the LSD you have was likely purchased from them originally and it would be their warranty on it) and Motovicity (if it was purchased after Motovicity took over it will be their warranty). If you cannot get it warrantied, Motovicity can likely set you up with the parts needed to repair it.

Motovicity is a distribution company that does not sell to the public. They'll simply send you to one of their dealers to get more information. But they won't sell any replacement parts to the end user.

Either of the companies might be able to tell him which dealer it was purchased through, if he knows the name of the original buyer.

If it was through Motovicity I'm not sure where it goes to be repaired under warranty. Through Autotech, they repair it themselves (and take their sweet time as I've sent a couple to them for repairs).

Quaife has never had a warranty, it has always been their US Distributor to offer the warranty (first Autotech, now Motovicity).

actually they do offer a warranty but you have to have the proof of purchase and a warranty card had to be filled within 30days of purchase. then when you send one back it takes 2months to get a new one.

Rumor control… Wavetrac does not own Quaife. Quaife is still owned by the Quaife family and their entire product line is still made in-house in the UK. They source nothing out. Thanks Aquafina for letting everyone know

JBLAZE622, pm me and I’ll get you set up to send your differential in. We can take a look at it free of charge and let you know what needs to be replaced.

For anyone that has a Quaife differential that was not purchased through an authorized dealer of Motovicity Distribution, we (Motovicity) will work directly with you for replacement parts and rebuilds. We will then give you a list of authorized shops for future purchases, maintenance, etc… If you have bought Quaife product in the past we want to make sure you are taken care of. Motovicity does not sell retail but in this special case with Quaife we will take care of you initially and then get you hooked up with a shop for future inquiries. We can not warranty product that was not purchased through Motovicity but we will make sure your parts don’t become paperweights.

All Quaife differentials that are purchased through Motovicity come with a warranty card. The warranty card needs to be filled out and mailed to us within 30 days of purchase. We will have the Quaife warranty listed on www.quaifelsd.com in the next couple weeks.

Autotech will not give warranties on Quaife differentials anymore, so if you have any questions or concerns you can pm me or send your inquiries to info@quaifelsd.com and I’ll get it at work.

Thanks,
Mac
