besides the obvious f22a mani, evolution industries makes an adapter to fit an H22 mani on there. Also I believe the h23 non vtec manifold goes on there without *too* much fuss. check cb7 tuner, that engine would be their bread and butter.

edit, didn't you ask this before?

That works? Is it a simple bolt on? What are the advantages over a full h23 manifold?

A stock 1993 Honda Accord with a F22a motor was used to test the adaptorplate. Baseline pass showed 80.2hp and 117.4lbft at 6364rpm. After installing the adaptorplate with the H22 manifold it made 112.7hp and 130.0lbft at 6364rpm. So a gain of 32.4hp and 12.6lbft.

With the F22A6 bottom half there is no modification/fabrication required. It is a direct bolt on. The H23 bottom-2-F22A head requires some fab work IIRC.

i wouldn't call it fab work... all you really need to do is gasket match the runners/ports and bolt it up. i'm no H-series expert though so i may have the "one" that works easily. i'm working with an OBD-1 H23 manifold and an F22A4 head.

It must be the runner length on the A6 that everyone is looking for. I have never done the swap myself. I have seen quite a few builds using the H23 plenum and throttle body with the A6 runners. That being said, they are on mostly N/A setups. Maybe it won't matter as much with a boosted application.

if useing the h23 mani. does the f-series waterpump tube work with the h-series. also the thermostat housing. i have found a few build ups that use this and that mani's. some just don't have little detailed info.

i have the a1 intake mani that came on the head. the plenum just looks a little small.

yeah, the F22A thermostat housing works with the H23 manifold. i think i'm using an F22A "metal pipe" as well.
