Halfshaft spacers fixed my vibration
I have noticed there is a lot of debate about how to properly fix vibration under acceleration. Swapping the inner "buckets" of the axles will fix the vibration, but I see this as more of a temporary fix. Using half shaft spacers pushes the axles closer back to where they should be stock.
My vibration got very bad. Even if I babied the car, it would still shake under acceleration. Now I have no vibration at all, and I feel confident that the problem was fixed properly.
I have seen many people spending the money to get T1R spacers for around $150. Megan Racing has a set that retails for $105 and you can get for $89.
Their set comes with 4 spacers (they are two-piece), and it also includes really heavy duty 14mm bolts, lock washers, and nuts with loctite already in them. Installation was very simple and takes an hour. The exhaust kind of gets in the way of the bolts, so just jack up the car on both sides so that you can spin the wheels to rotate the half shafts. This allows you to get to each bolt.
Many will still have their opinions, but I can tell you first hand that this was a perfect way to fix the problem for less than $100. I say only spend the money to get T1R if you're looking for that uber sweet JDM name. Megan Racing has always built very good quality products for the money. I don't see how these parts could be any better.

If you guys have any questions about installation or need more specifics, just ask.

Depends on several factors: mileage before drop, driving type, etc.
If you have the vibration, these will probably solve it. If you don't, you don't need them.
The vibration, if you have it, might shorten the life of your diff too.
OP: Good review. No reason to buy the more expensive ones: this is a simple part and knock-offs are fine.

If you've got a 30" socket extension and someone to help hold a 14mm wrench on the nuts while under the car, you can use an impact wrench for the job by just sticking the extension right through the wheel well from outside of the car.
dope i allways thought when it comes to parts like this there is no reason to spend md money there is not that much r&d needed for something like this. i was looking into this when my axle(or what i thought was my axle) was clicking cause i was a lil over 2in dropped and new the axles were getting pretty stretched esp in high load corners
my rear driver side is clicking now and my gtmotoring driveshaft spacers are on transit. im going to do the reverse cv bucket and driveshaft spacer install. best of both worlds.

?? T1R is not JDM. I got the T1R spacers because people were complaining about broken bolts on the Megans. Although, there have also been complaints of the T1Rs coming loose. Ugh. Might have to buy some shouldered heavy duty bolts in the end anyway.
Uber sweet JDM would be J's racing or something else. There have been really no complaints involving the J's spacers. Maybe that's because less people buy them? Or maybe it's because their bolts are really better. The bolts really make the difference in the kit. A spacer is just a spacer. As long as it's flat, it'll work.

I've read that T1R's included bolts are 1mm smaller than the holes, so that may be why they come loose. I have the Megan racing ones myself - but I opted on using my own bolts/nuts. You just need high grade (10.8 or 12.9 i think, for metric) M10-1.25x40mm (or whichever pitch you prefer - as long as its M10). Since OEM torque spec is 24ft/lb for each - the 10.8 or 12.9 grades are more than strong enough to hold. And don't forget the loctite.

Yeah, my T1Rs came with 3/8'' bolts. They were noticeably smaller than stock. I just went out and bought M10 grade 12.9 bolts. They ended up being $40 with the corresponding flange nuts. I had to clean out the inventory of like 3 different ace hardwares though lol. 12 of those suckers were hard to find.
The vibration....is...the same...if not worse. Maybe my diff is sick of my abuse?
