Default Code 8 and 9 but little complicated--help if you can

Obdo to obd1 used stock harness from 1990 honda civic hatch std d15b2 to d16z6 92 si, motor all complete running before pulled with no codes.

Now, after swapped throwing codes 8 and 9 then checked and followed the instructions on the ecu side and dizzy side and all good. It was running like i have the timing off so i checked the timing and perfect (never really messed with timing belt ever since i pulled it off from the si-running) then i noticed my header getting redish only on two and four cylinder. So i pulled the wire off of the number one cylinder and no change in rpm then three and no change in rpm. Then pulled two and low rpm then four and low rpm. Then checked spark on all wires. Spark good. I then checked if i have fuel pulse on the engine harness wire for the injectors. Twho and four have power and pulse. One has power and no pulse. Three has no power and no pulse.

So, question i have tdc and cyb codes 8 and 9, do the go off if the wiring messed up for the injectors? Either way i have a wiring problem and the ecu side is good. If i have sequential injectors, could i wire the two cylinder that are not working to the two that are working? Or that is a bad idea? Please help if you can thanks...

i think you wired your injectors wrong recheck the wiring on them easy to get confused but its pretty simple the headers only getting hot on those 2 is a sign since your getting spark do you have a resister box or did you delete them and what kind of injectors do you have? I bet you did the wiring wrong at the ecu side for the 2 extra injectors.....

The motor is straight 92 si valve cover to pan with obd1 injectors didnt need the resistor box. The wires that go to injectors are a1 and a5 only basicaly. I mean two small wires on to one ecu wire which is a1 amd two small wires which go to a5.

k thats confusing wht your saying what wires are u talking about that go to the ecu?

the injector wires are:

obd-0//obd-1
A01//A01 INJ.1
A03//A03 INJ.2
A05//A05 INJ.3
A07//A02 INJ.4

dont wire you injectors togehter thats asking for more trouble.
did u read up on "HOW TO" elimintate the injector resistor box?
if not read these and it MAY or may not fix your injector issue

http://www.d-series.org/forums/diy-f...onversion.html

https://honda-tech.com/forums/showth...sistor+removal

(the 2nd link down is a turbo build but later on explains the resitor removal etc just scroll down)

each injector has a ground and power. from what your saying there it deffently sounds like a wiring issue

um as well just so you can double check your wiring(pulled this from here its what i use/used for my conversion

here's the link: https://honda-tech.com/forums/showth...d0+obd1+pinout

and here is the "injector wiring"

hopefully that helps

Im cofused ad the cofused again ad ow im eve worse than confusion cause i think i need a new word for cofusion.
92 motor si and i put it in my dx. I have the ecu from the 92. Someone had the wiring done for me since im no good in wires and didn't even try at all. I have ecu jumper cause the guy who was doing the wires hook me up one for it.
Now i took the orange and white c1 and c2 and moved to b10 and b12. The orange and white wires i cut i hooked on the wires the dude hooked on the dizzy on the blue/green and blue/yellow wires.
Now he hooked the injectors and he had 2wires and said those go to a1. and 2 other wires and said those go to a5. I hooked those up and starts and i have code 9 and 8. Now, the confusion is that injector 1 and 3 are not even firing and i switched injectors and they are good, tested the cylinders 180 compression all around and spark is present. I thought, maybe the guy had the a1 and a5 messed/switched them up. So i switched them and the same injectors are firing. Then i wanted to know whether a1 or a5 is mulfunctioning by not hooking either or and still the same. The part that made me even confused is that i disconnected the a1 and a5 (no wires to injectors to the ecu) and car still runs on 2 and 4!!!!! I mean wtf!!! Is this normal or i happen to have a ghost dx hatch on my hands???
I am still using the dx harness and just swapped the ecu and used jumper harness.......
I think this p.o.s dx is on some other shyte.
