motor still hits the hood help
I have a GSR block with a B16 head. I have put spacers on the hood and i've removed the underskeleton. IDK what else to do. It still hit the Damn hood. I have innovative mounts as well. help Please
I hate to be the one to tell you these cars have shifted with age and sometimes there isn't anything you can do other then a different hood or keep spacing it.
Sometimes other mounts will help. It's just these cars seem to varry with this problem.
Can you get some pictures of how bad it's rubbing and exactly where? Possible something to grind down more to help.

I read of putting spacers inbetween mount and motor to lower the motor???
I took the motor out since it needed work but I have on the hood 1/2 inch spacers. Anymore spacing and the hood wont prop open.

Harder mounts and a ZC hood man. I have a B20vtec in mine and it hits as well. I just live with it though because I don't want to space the hood
