Default thumping noise while driving

[95 civic ex] while driving, my cars making a weird thumping noise. sounds like a flat tire. all tires are 45 psi, no screws/rocks whatever in them. as i give it more gas, the thumping occurs more rapidly, so its something to do with the wheel. lugs are tight, studs are only 2 years old. uca and lca bushings are okay, starting to dryrot a bit, im looking to replace them in the near future anyways. theres a 2-inch hole in the trailing arm w/ a rubber bushing in? i think, anyway, it bolts to the car on either side of the trailing arm, and theres spots where the rubber is rotted out, you can see through. could this be causing it? if not, what is this piece called anyway? looks like it needs replaced.

The trailing arm bushing is where the trailing arm is bolted to the chassis. When those get worn out you might hear a clunking noise when you hit a bump. You usually wouldn't hear anything from that when driving along a smooth road.

If you are hearing a thumping noise that increases as you go faster, then it is probably either coming from the wheels or the drivetrain. It could be many things. Have you hit any big bumps or holes that might have bent one of your wheels?

it feels like its in there rear of the car, the vibrations are much more faint in the front.

Well if you drive down a smooth road and still hear the thumping then it is probably not the trailing arm bushings causing the sound. However, if you can actually see the trailing arm bushing falling apart then you might also want to replace that eventually.

u could have a separated belt in one of ur tires. shitty bumps will do that. i had one do it to me after i hit a big pothole on the hwy. like ^^^^ said. it's either drivetrain or wheels/tires
