So iv been running a ls vtec turbo setup for about 6 months before i pulled it back out to upgrade a bunch of stuff and i changed from the stock mounts to hasport solid mounts and i also picked up a vis evo style hood. well i went to close the hood after putting the motor back in and it doesnt want to clear the valve cover. has anyone had any clearance problems with either the mounts or the hood?

 

i also have LS conversion with solid mounts, but havent had any clearance issues ever..
check if the front legs are straight and that everything is aligned.. ps, wats your output before and after turbo??

 

never had a before just boosted it right away, everything is lined up with my mounts, motor is sitting in there good just might be the style of the carbon fiber hood im guessing, so im gonna try hood spacers.

 

Evo hoods belong on Evo's... Not Hondas.

 

yah at least its a function-able hood not just a big hood scoop.... and IMO they look damn good
