dose a sound system sound good in a gutted car??
I had the rear gutted in my car... I had two amps running a 12" in a ported box and a set of components up front and it was fine. I think if your car is gutted you're not going for the best sound quality in a stereo anyways, lol
before removing the interior and adding subs your car most likely is already loud and rattles. Remove interior and add subs, It will most likely sound like its rattling itself to pieces...
It's going to sound like crap. First of all you're probably going to be rattling the crap out of everything in the back. But you're also going to get a lot of unwanted sound reflection (which leads to really muddy sounding bass), not to mention that the lack of sound deadening will make your sound leak out and road noise leak in, further diluting the sound.
There's a reason why car audiophiles seal off their cars with Dynamat
HOWEVER with that said...9/10 "systems" I see installed in people's cars sound like absolute garbage anyway. It seems most like people don't actually care about the fidelity, but about having mAd slap fr0m da subz y0! So cvc1393, if you're not in it for the fidelity and if you just want to bump your beatz, then go for it, you have nothing to worry about besides the rattling issue.

With the sound system being 2 10's duals it will sound good for the speakers. That brand of speaker isn't hard enough to be and make everything rattle, it will more sound like a after market set of 6x9 so you should be good. My cousin has 2 12 kicker cvr, with rockford amp and in a gutted crx and has no issue with rattling.
SQ will not be the best, however it is sub bass we are talking about.
Rattling will actually be much less of an issue, nothing, [plastic trim paneling] to vibrate against the sheet metal.
As mentioned, if the car is gutted for weight, adding a proper box for two 10s kind of defeats the purpose, a single 10" in a fiberglass spare tire well cabinet will at least gain you a small advantage by lowering the cars center of gravity a bit, it also places the sub as far away from you as possible. 94

its gonna rattle like 2 bees boning in a beer can.
Also, im willing to bet the subs, amp, and box are gonna weight more than all the interior you pulled out. i never got why people gut daily drivers...

It wont rattle as bad, theres pretty much noithing to rattle... When my friend's car was gutted several years ago he had 1 alpine 12'' and it sounds terrible, there rattling wasnt to bad, just the normal rattle from the trunk.
it may not rattle per se, but the body will vibrate like hell, distorting the music. theres a reason people pay hundreds to sound dampen a car. (on the contrary, theres also a reason guys gut their cars, and putting a sub/box/amp in completely defeats the purpose of gutting)
