Civic tire size 205/55/r16 too big?

Default Civic tire size 205/55/r16 too big?

Hey,
I recently finally got 16x7 rims with +40 offset for my 00 civic. They came with 205/55/r16 tires, I was wondering if the tires will rub. I know the speedometer will be off a bit.

lowerd? those do seem pretty big to me. i would be looking for a 205/45/16

no, the car is not lowered or anything and yuh, i will probably get 45s but for now?

I hope to god they dont *rub that is* :/ The difference between 205/45 to 205/55 is of 1 inch, i really wish its okay for now
