Year Stamp on Head
Ok i recently purchased a B18B1 for my 95 Ej1. Seller told me it came off a 95 Integra. Also provided a VIN# which i havent ran yet. Everything seems legit. But im curious as to my head having the first circle stamped (9|4). I asked him about it and he said hes confirmed that means its 95. The reason i really care about this is I'm gonna go B.A.R. it later maybe next month or so. And im paranoid on the REF tripping out about this. That if in fact what the seller has told me is in fact true.
I've tried searching but cant find anything on subject. Any help is appreciated. Please no i thinks...i want concrete proof or facts. Cuz i dont want to go to ref and look all stupid.

Next to the date stamp will be another (#|#), I have been told that it's the month/day it was cast, and that if it was cast late in the year, it could have been made for a car for the following year. In your case, a head cast in 1994 made for a 1995 car.
Car companies do make stuff ahead of time.

Yeah my car is 95. Ive searched and found people who got aay with it. I think what they care about most is it stays the same OBD system. And all sensors and crap are working and in correct order.

You can double check it through the VIN number. The year should be the 10th character (signified by a letter). An "R" is definitely '94 according to the Helms manual, so I'm assuming an "S" would mean that it's a '95.
Concrete proof will be tough to get, I think. This is what I have been told.

Which would practically mean 95
Did Honda stamp VIN #s on early B18B1 heads? Or any heads?
If they didn't I wouldn't trust the VIN # he gave you unless he's a good friend or a well known reputable seller.

Yes, I think you're right. I belive I was wrong in my earier post, it's just the month not the month/day like I said.
