new intake/headers and magnaflow exhaust. 1.5L stock vtec. Sucks that its auto so idk what to do 1st should I get a new engine 1st or get 5sp tranny 1st?

 

Let me know what you guys think I should upgrade next and for low price.

 

first of all thats not vtec,

if your going to do any swap thats d series
all you need to do is the MPFI swpa and get a pedal assembly

 

Then why does it say vtec on the engine?????

Ok well as said before it doesn't look like a vtec motor at all the DPI and fact no US spec hondas came with any VTEC also tend to hint at that. Possible someone swapped heads or blocks but doubtful.

With that out of the way.

Your first step should be PLAN PLAN PLAN PLAN read PLAN PLAN PLAN search more PLAN PLAN and then crack open the wallet.

Why? Because if you get a new trans and want to go with another motor series that's money wasted. If you legally can't swap why buy a new motor? If you are happy with the looks why get a wing?

You need to know your rules or laws and what you want out of the car. What are you doing with the car? How much can you spend on it at a time? Is down time a big deal?

I know people get all itchy to slap on parts but that never ends well, so save time money and headaches and read up first. Once you know what you need from the car you'll have an easier time picking what mods to suit your car.

 

Definatly no vtec if it's stock. Which it is with the dual point injection. But it's s nice ride regardless

 

Man you guys are all wrong, it has VTEC, that lil shiny thing above the dizzy is the vtec solenoid!!! Controls the Exhaust and ish to make vtec crack harder!!!

damn man, are you really that lazy to whereyou want someone to actually do all the searching for you? you can't go to google or use the search funstion and search yourself? hell, maybe even try looking in the faq's. you will find a plethora of information.

 

 

Save yourself the trouble and do the tranny and engine at the same time.
