Default UK/JDM H22A7 CRX Track Rebuild

First of all hi from Scotland, UK I bought a 1991 Japanese import CRX Si with a JDM H22A swap, D2 coilovers, lightweight racing battery and a couple of other parts for £1300($1800) off a local forum where the car has been passed around alot and fallen into a state of disrepair. Car needed a bit of work, the radiator and waterpump were shot so was leaking coolant and making the car overheat, bushes and steering components were shot aswell.

Couple of pics from when i got the car back to the workshop

Started stripping the car over a couple of days

Engine was in a state. Oil and coolant leaks, mashed sump and exhaust manifold and a dodgy hydro clutch conversion to boot

Couple of finds, explicitspeedperformance.net traction bar and what looks like a Fidanza flywheel. There is pictures of this cars engine bay on esp.net from when it was originally built circa 5 years ago i found out

Tegiwa alloy rad i got with the car compared to knacked standard item

Started this at the end of Feburary then i got busy at work an havent touched it since but enthusiasm has returned after my latest purchase. Accident damaged 1999 Accord Type R for £700($1000) nearly a full car minus interior so will make nearly all that back selling parts i dont need
It comes with a H22A7 thats 212hp & 163ft/lb standard and a U2Q7 helical LSD gearbox with shorter ratios than that of a prelude

more updates to come in the next couple of weeks when i get to work on the car some more. cheers

Accord wheels are 17"and one is buckled real bad. I going to run 15" because it's cheaper for track tyres. I have an ITR 5 lug setup and 15" UKDM Itr wheels in my garage that I'm fitting to a car I recently got. It's an accident damaged facelift super sonic blue EK hatch. Just need to get the front end painted. It's got coilovers, skunk2 camber kits, carbon spoon style spoiler, beaks brace and a spoon n1. Only a d14 bit I got a b18c4 conversion I can put in

yeah and the clutch pedal setup was just as bad. Had about an inch of play either side. Not to worry the firewall is going to get completely smoothed off with no brake booster and I plan on running an aftermarket floor mounted pedal box
