Fuel or Ignition Problem?

i had to change my dizzy cause it was bad new one on and runs a whole lot better but when driving long distances the car bogs down like its loosing power then picks back up and is fine for a while then does it again and it has a slight backfire when changing gears any idea on what this problem is?

see i knew the timing was off cause of the slight back fire but can that cause the boggin down and pickin back up? .... the jumper?
There is a jumper on the pass side shock tower for re-timing.
Sounds like you are a tooth or so off on your timing belt. If it is missing sometimes, I would check that because the back firing is not good for the motor.

ok so no CEL and still havnt checked ignitor and i was wrong about timing it is off by one or two teeth
