Auxiliary port in my stock 98 prelude deck
I called cartoys today, and asked them if they could wire an aux port to my deck so it could remain stock. I dont want to purchase a cd deck that has an aux port on it. They said it was possible but it would cost me $150 for labor, and $150 for the part. Obviously I wasn't wanting to have cartoys do the work for me, I wanted to do the work myself, I was just hoping they would drop the name of the part that they would install. I asked him but he wouldn't disclose it. I also asked if it involved wires to be cut, because I didnt want any to be cut, he said no the converter port just plugs in between the wire from the firewall to the radio.
If anyone has any idea on this part I would really really appreciate it. Thanks everyone

LOL $150 for a plug and play install, what a rip.

The list goes no, I don't think I have ever seen a $150 AUX adapter, maybe an iPod adapter that allows control from the stock HU, even then $150 is a bit of a rip. 94
