Though you do have some quality parts and great suspension, he's right. Trying to sell a stock, high mileage LS with aging, faded paint that have been autocrossed seems unfair and overpriced. But regardless, everyone is entitled to ask for whatever they want so GLWS.

Thanks for the advice guys, and I do understand what you mean. The only reason why I started it that high, is because I have had a lot of "LOWBALL" offers - $2k or so. The price is definitely negotiable.
As far as being on the track, the engine is well taken care off. Fluids have been changed more frequently than suggested - i.e. oil changes and such before and after HPDEs.
The care is lower mileage than most - 125,xxx original miles for a 1996 comes out to less than 9,000 miles a year. And you're right the B18B1 is a virgin - in the sense that she's definitely a stock motor.
I did hesitate to put the asking price that high, but I just don't want to be lowballed that's all.
If people are interested in particular parts, I may be interested in parting her out.
So, make an offer and let's see what we can work out...
Regas/S. drives (ran once and removed) - $1100 OBO

PWJDM bars/ITR sway bar - $600 OBO



koni/gc/tophats (ran on 3 HPDEs and parked) - $1000 OBO


DC4 with MAACO retouched paint/hardrace bushings/oem steelies/oem shocks/eibach springs - $3300 OBO

Still have everything other than the regas. ITR sway and Rear 4pt are still in place - $4,000 OBO for the whole car as she sits - will deliver to SATX, Austin, Corpus and possibly Houston areas...

$4k for everything bump - cheaper as a whole, still has everything, will be way cheaper than buying and installing these parts on the car. She's just sitting in the garage waiting for a new owner.
The whole DC with koni/gc/tophats, all hardrace bushings installed including RTAs, pwjdm bars, raxle axles, ITR 23mm/Beaks mount/Prothane kit, new timing belt/waterpump, new accessory belts, spark plugs/wires - whole car for $4k OBO...
