35w HID Kits with the correct relay kit for your application will give you the same output as a 55w kit.

You will find that a 55W kit will give you more glare in a reflective headlight given that the arc is bigger. A 55W kit will offer you slightly more light output than a 35W system however in a reflective headlight glare will be an issue.

55W ballasts are not as efficient as 35W ballasts meaning that you will have shorter ballast life given that the ballast has to work harder.

 

wondering how these differ from the bi-xenon.

ok, so i recieved the kit today, but it didnt come in the cool hidrus box and no power harness?? what gives??

 

We have been sending kits in smaller box's so they can fit in the USPS priority box's. Shipping tends to only be 2-3 days with this system. The bigger box's can take up to a week or even longer to ship.

The kits do not come with a power harness. The regular kits like you purchased just use the regular headlight harness. The only kit that will need a relay kit for additional power are the bi-xenon kits.

ok figured out how to use it. had to trim a little bit off of my stock light bulb sockets to fit over the plug on the ballast. works just dont like the greenish yellow color the 3k bulbs give off. its not even close to being goldish. thanks anyway.

 

Any pics ? I'm trying to pick up a set very soon.

 

We can try another set of bulbs? They should look just like this after they are up to full temp. (Takes about 30 second the first time they are turned on.)

that color illumination is what i was aiming for, but they give off a greenish tint. that yellow is yellow. the color is good looking at the projector, but when you get in the car, the light output is greenish yellow. and that is after a a minute of it being on.

 

Do you offer H4H bulbs for the JDM headlight housings such as 90-93 Integra as well as the 88-95 Civics? It's like the H4 but the base/socket is smaller.
