NO, you need a conversion harness. OBD0 to OBD1. You should stick with what the motor & ECU are (OBD1). Try jdmshit.com or boomslang.us for harness. $75-125

You can use your OBD1 Harness & ECU BUT, there will almost for sure be a couple of plugs in your engine bay that won't plug inot OBD1 harness since your car is originally OBD0.
You'll have to use a wiring diagram and see the plugs are for and either cut them off and just splice into OBD1 harness wires or get the mating plug from your old OBd0 engine and motor. I guess you wouldn't need the conversion harness.

the reason i was leaning toward obd1 harness is, when i put this engine in my last civic it was obd2 i bought the conversion harnesses and tried to use the p73. The car like sputtered and died all the time just ran like poo. But i put my old b16 ecu back on the "the p06 or something" the car ran fine. why is that?

If you have an OBD0 car then you're in the wrong section anyway.
