Default Clutch pedal

ok just got a 93 integra db with a 99 ls swap and b16 cable tranny supposely well everytime im goin to push down the clutch its hard to push down im tell you ppl i cought a cramp from atlanta to all the way my house wich is like 8miles well can anyone tell me the issue its driving me nutts and yes its a cable tranny thanks

theres a part of the clutch assembly named a pressure plate... it works like a spring but looks nothing like a spring... but anyways... just like suspension on ur car... if u have a really stiff spring there are benefits but also tradeoffs... like comfort....

basically... if u have an aftermarket clutch with a really stiff pressure plate then this may very well be the reason why it feels so hard....

I have two integras.. one has a stock clutch and the other has an exedy clutch assembly...

the stock clutch can be driven by a child while the exedy requires a little more leg muscle... honestly i prefer stiffer.. but not so stiff that its like going to the gym

yea i know about the part called pressure plate but at the same time it should'nt be stickin at the bottom at realeasing point can you explain that

a really stiff clutch pedal may indicate a bad clutch. Had this happen when one of the springs in the clutch popped out.
