I know some people think they arent necessary and they look dumb but i need to see where some people have theres mounted. my friend ordered a shift light and we were trying to decide where to mount it. (just the light not the monstertach and light) i know there arent too many places to mount but i just wanted to see some pictures before we decide. thanks in advance......

I plan on doing this too. Anyone know where I can get the generic band shift light where you can change what rpm it lights up by turning a *** on the back? TIA

i actually regret buying mine. i ordered at autometer shift light, autometer A/F guage and a B&M short shifter + es bushings. ~$175, i would have rather just bought a skunk2 ss and the es bushings. i hardly ever drive to the point where a shift light comes into play. its nice to have but i think the money can be better spent. well anyways i have mine mounted on the steering column to the left. doesnt block anything and looks pretty clean.

BTW i i have auto meter shift pills for sale if you need em. i have 7.0, 7.2, 7.4 and 7.6

Mine is built into the dash. It came with the hondata system. I didn't think it would work to well but it does. It is alot more noticable then I thought it would be. Which is cool cause I would never want to have a big shift light anyways.

But like someone mentioned I don't hit the rev limit very often. I red line in second at about 75mph (8500 rpm with the oversized tires) which is more then enough for most autox courses. And there is no reason to hit the limiter in 1st.
