clutch cable doesnt reach on b16 swap...

i didnt read anywhere about the stock clutch cable not working, but mine is 2 inches shy... can anyone inform me on what i need to do, or which clutch cable i need to get?

I've done many B series swaps and have not had a problem with the stock clutch cable.
Try doing this.......Adjust your clutch cable to give the most slack.........then unbolt the cable bracket from the tranny, then mount your cable up to the bracket......then re-bolt the entire bracket with cable attached back up to the tranny.
This is what I do.....it should work.

I used this method on my stock cable. Then I got the right one...90-93 integra cable.

If the stock cable works, why not use it??? I would rather have my customer spend that money on a timing belt and water pump for their JDM B16, than for a clutch cable that was not needed. (unless theirs was worn or bad)
I always use the Integra throttle cable though, but not the clutch cable.

My clutch cable was to short. The guy that I talked to at hasport said that this is common but he had no explaination. I had to have the bracket that mounts it to the tranny modified.
I am kind of lucky because a good friend of mine is a custom fabricator.

Yeah someone told me the CRX one was find so I ordered a brand new Honda CRX Si cable and then found out the 90-93 has more adjustment... oh well. This one works fine
