How much do you think this Drag III kit is worth?
Im still trying to sell my Drag III kit. Its for a Type R. Its used yes, but in mint condition. I had the turbo re-built with new seals and have the paperwork for it...it runs perfect, no leaks etc etc.
Im trying to decide on parting it out. How much do you think the bare kit is worth. The manifold, turbo (t3t4 e trim), all the piping, HKS SS BOV, Front mount intercooler, downpipe with custom flex pipe and test pipe welded on with flange and air filter with piping for turbo?
Also, whats the going rate for:
1. Vortech 12:1 FMU
2. Tial wastegate with custom dump tube
3. Walbro high pressure in tank fuel pump.
4. Inline fuel pump from Drag kit.
5. Oil pan tapped for oil return and oil temp gauge
6. Autometer boost guage, oil temp gauge, fuel pressure gauge
7. Turbo XS manuel boost controller
8. Greddy turbo timer (new-still in box)

well turbo has about 4000 miles on it, but only 250 miles since new seals. Condition is perfect.
Ive already been offered $2200 by a local guy...so $2000 is a no go.

i'm selling similar items and i only asked for $1800 combined for it. but then i parted out because it's damn hard to sell a kit nowadays.

what are you waiting for? I doubt you will see anything more than that...besides you save the hassle of shipping etc.

I offered him 2800 for it a few weeks back but he said he had a 3200 offer (prolly to make me go higher) so I guess you gonna get alot less than what I offered

I original owner of the kit used it for about 4000 miles. Then he took it off and sold it and was selling his car. The turbo sat for about 4 months or so. When I got it and put it on it had a "minor" leak coming from it. At first we thought it could have been from the oil return line not draining properly and causing it to back up with oil and leak out the seals. Im not too sure if it had anything to do with the turbo sitting for so long or if the previous owner shut the car down hot a few times.
I didnt want to take any chances so I sent the turbo out. The place that did the rebuild said most everything was in great condition but there was some carbon build up ( i believe thats what he said) and some signs of hot shut downs...so i gues maybe all of that contributed to the seals giving out a bit.
Either way the turbo is 100% fine I gaurentee that. I never shut the car down hot and the turbo never leaked on me after it was fixed.

Ive never lied to anyone about what offers I have gotten. But if someone offers me some thing higher then the next guy...im going to obviously take the highest offer....if the guy flakes or back out...then I put it back on the market. What choice do i have?

are you including tial WG, gauges, MBC, and timer in the kit?
I have offers pending right now on the turbo timer and Tail wastegate. MBC is unspoken for. No money has traded hands yet either.

anyways I didint say that was the truth in any part of my reply I said probably because when you first put it up for sale you WANTED $3500 for a used kit and you were only offered sub 3000 so theres your motive to price gouge (not saying you did but its a theory).
Also, When you sell stuff like this with high prices people tend to fall through sometimes so you keep a list of the next highest bidder or keep the pm or whatever we exchanged. that way you can say "Hey other guy fell through you still want it for so and so price". just helping ya, you would have sold the kit to me had you done that.
