Im thinking the ball joints are shot on my drivers side of my ep3. Has any one ever changed these? How hard is it and where is the best place to get the parts? Thanks

 

No one has done ball joints on one of these hot rods?

 

first of all it would be helpful to know which car you are talking about!

 

2002 - 2005 Civic SI hatch. And No I haven't personally changed ball joints on these yet. Is there any wheel shudder?

 

What exactly gives you the impression that it's the ball joints? What are the mods on the car and the car's mileage?

 

Is the car lowered?

 

i did mine and used a ball joint seperator and a hammer. Honda wont sell just the ball joints you have to get the whole knuckle and everything and it was like 200.00. I bought the buddy club RCA's instead but they were on back order so ended up with the Hard Race Roll Center Adjusters.

 

The front end makes noise if you jerk the wheel hard or hit a bump. The car is bone stock with 58k on it. And as posted in my original post its an ep3 si

 

I was going to just order the ball joint from Advance auto and have my buddy at Synapse do it
