Default converting obd0 distribuitor to obd1

If i have a 90 b16a that came out of an obd0 integra xsi and its going to an 90 ed that i want to convert to obd1 do i "have to" switch the distribuitor for and obd1 or can i just rewire it or buy a obd0 to 0bd1 distribuitor harness? I keep reading that i have to change the ignition in order to make it obd1 but i have seen people just rewire the obd0 distribuitor to obd1???

Sorry but you have read it wrong.

You will need to do one of the following:
1. Gut the internals from your obd0 distributor. Change out the the crank position sensor, the shaft with the gear sproket. It's hard enough removing the screws and not letting them brake. Repinning the original obd0 plugs won't be necessary since the internals have already been converted to provide the proper pulses for the ecu.
Or
2. Buy the proper distributor
