I have a red 95 honda civic dx.
The clutch is going out and dont want to spend a lot of money at a shop to fix it cause i cant afford it.
I live in vancouver,wa i would travel to portland if someone cant help me out.
Who can install a clutch here in this area.

when you tilt the motor downward to pull the tranny out, if there's ac you gotta undo the compressor or you will pinch the lines in terms, leaking rc134a all over.
but you prob have no experience in doing so

well you really dont have to remove/unbolt anything at all if you dont want to. But i dont like messing up other things and getting more problems when im already fixing a problem.

too bad i own a shop and yet never pinched any ac lines in my life. working on cars for 10 yrs. like how you are saying something about someone you dont know.
i agree, i also believe that you do not have to tilt the motor at such an angle to pinch any lines, if thats the case you can undo the brackets and let the lines be a bit looser.
thanx. enough for that dilemma this is just a waste of time from this point on if this "trying to change the clutch" continues. my 2 cents is up.




anyone else knows how to change a clutch. got somebody who gonna do it but just incase if it falls through thanks
