all right gonna pull my hair out and i hate to ask for help i just recently swaped my 91gs integra wit an 99si b16 rewired car to obd1 using an stock p28 and an obd2 distributor car is not starting checked pins outs for dist fine and pins at ecu all checked fine but seem to be throwing a code 4 and a code 20 i am so lost and stumped only way car starts is when spraying starter fluid in the throttle body if you have come across this problem or know how to fix would be much appreshiated thanks

looking up the code 4 and 20 for obd 1 seems like they're both from loose wiring, check the wiring to your dizzy. Arent you supposed to use a obd1 dizzy with an obd1 ecu..?

I had a very similar issue with my da, Check to see if the injectors are actually getting signal from the pcm. if your fuel pump is priming and the pressure is good and the compression is good and it is obviously getting air make sure the pcm is doing its job

if the injectors are not getting signal its ether the tdc(cam) sensor inside the distributor or the pcm is fried

oh a 91 would be obd0 but i dont think that will change the meaning of the codes

it shouldn't change very much if at all, and op said he is running an obd1 ecu and that he converted over from obd0 to obd1
