Default D16A6.. TIMING

ok so i have a 92 civic si hatch wit a jdm zc vtec..
anways block blew so i picked up a rebuilt d16a6 block..
my mechanic is doing the work but he claims that neither
the timing belt from the old or new block fit.. he claims theyre to
big.... whats the deal here?? praying for a miracle i need my car
back..

oh wait its sohc zc vtec? idk if they fit. the a6 didnt come with its t belt cover?

NO I JUST GOT The block... it came with a new timing belt..

just have him put the block at TDC and to ling up the cam and THATS IT!!!
