FS CIVIC WAGON 2WD 5-SPEED WAUKEGAN, IL
No trades please. I just bought yet another car and I cant keep this one too.
For sale is a 5-speed 2wd 1991 Honda Civic Wagon DX with a little over 280k miles on the
body and about 80k miles on the DOHC ZC D16A8 engine. Engine idles, revs and
runs well. The trans shifts and works well. Car is stripped for better acceleration, braking
and mpg. Even with my lead foot i get an average of 34mpg. No power steering, no A/c
New valve cover gasket and new plugs. Passenger side CV boots both inner and outer installed
last year.
Performance mods:
-D16A8
-stripped
-roll cage
-ksport coilovers all around of course with eg forks in front
-intake pipe with k&N filter
-full 2.25 stainless exhaust + header(dont know which one)
-Stainless Steel brake lines
-slotted front rotors with Hawk pads
-15/16" master cylinder
-miata lightweight rims
-KYB struts/Tom's Coilovers extra parts but very used
The ksports could probably use a rebuild in the next year. the car does have some rust but not
that bad. the undercarrage is actually in better shape than the wheel wells. The drivers side
could use new cv boots, inner and outer. I may have time to install new ones but that depends how quickly I find a buyer for the car. The front and rear bumper covers look a little saggy because I removed the bumper supports so they are held on by zip-ties. The bumper supports will be included in the sale of the car along with at least 90% of the interior of the car. The lock on the hatch wont open with key but opens with lever inside car next to driver's seat. I think that's about it in terms of bad. Really, the worst part about the car is the body and that's not that bad.
I will be including with the purchase the missing corner light and a used oem front bumper in good condition.
Also, depending on how close to the asking price the car sells for I may include a set of 15" black steel rims in good shape with winter tires but the tires are pretty much shot.
I have a parts car that could even be included in the sale...
I've posted pics of the worst rust damage it has. The black is just some rust resistant paint.
I think that's about it. Price is $1700 obo. Questions welcome.

dumpster, the previous owner had the cage done. i think i may have the receipt in the receipt pile he gave me when i bought it. i'll look for it tonight and let you know.
