Driver side tire blew on my EM1
i was on the driving on the freeway and all of a sudden the car jerked side to side.....i got off immediately and found my tire was flat....took it off to find the inner side of the tire was rubbing against some of the suspension parts....sry i dont know what its called but its the rear driver side....the car is lowered on function and form type 2s.....im worried that the back right might be rubbing and it could happen to that tire too.....are the rotas too wide? dont know what size they are the sticker is faded......its not slammed at all but the rear looks like it has some negative camber....do i need a camber kit? these tire are fairly new(2 months old) falken zeix ze912

Bump need some help....i dont think the wheel is bent....i think it is the camber...so i would ned a camber kit right? Also i dont know if it makes a difference but it has blox trailing arm bushings

yea.. but they should last a hell of a lot longer than 2 months
op: take a look in the wheel well and figure out what the tire was hitting. what you have there is not from camber wear.

As stated first, take a picture of your wheel well so we can have a look.
worst comes to worse you can run a spacer, but rotas normally have good offsets for hondas.

yea its rubbing on the camber compensator im guessing....i looked at the other wheel and its flat...took the wheel off but it wasnt torn like the other tire.....but its definitely rubbing...heres the pics

so this IS a camber issue right? that can be fixed with a rear camber kit?

i doubt it has anything to do with camber as i dont run a correction kit on em1 or any other ride ive had.people running these low offset wheels are even adding more camber to there set ups to fit.id look at the offset of you wheels,it should be stamped on the back of the hubs like a 42 or 44 is a typical rota/honda offset.if its higher than 44 that may be you problem,or something is right/worn in you suspention
no need to check their rotas their offset is high somehting over 30+ which on any hond awill never rub even if the frame is hitting the bottom. Its not about the rims its about the something bent or imporperly installed

I can't say I know much about the problem at hand but I can say I doubt this is a camber problem. It's most likely either the offset of your rims being way too high or incorrect camber arms being installed in the rear pulling the top in too far.
took the tire to americas tires and they guy said it could be camber but it could also be something bent like you guys said....so he said to bring the car tomorrow so it can get inspected...i hope its nothing serious or costly
i dot get why u are saying anything about camber u stated something was rubbing, ur car is riding fairly high from what im hearing, I had my car slammed tucking tire and didnt adjust anything and it didnt rub either. and clearly the offset by just looking at the rim is high as hell which is perfect for stock hondas

If its a 205 on a 6.5 rim or something its possible that the offset is too high to fit those tires. But it doesnt look that way from the pics. The tires look like they fit pretty well. I dont see how both sides could be bent to create the same problem.
Does it rub all the time? Can you hear it or feel it? Maybe it only happens when your cornering. I know my 15x7 with 205 on them were very close to the trailing arm, maybe thats it.
