I was trying to figure out for a friend why her tail lights remain on when the switch is in the off position. Wire white with a blue stripe always has current going through it don't know if that should be. On the left taillight I unplugged a tan/yellowish connector and the taillights worked like they should.

The other issue is with the connecter removed and installed the brake lights dont work . The center brake light bulb is burned out don't know if that affects the other two. I checked all the fuses and the ground by the left taillight no luck. I also checked the switch on the pedal but its an automatic so I did my best to jump the wires to see if it was a bad switch no luck. It also has abs.

Im a civic person that hasnt dealt this autos, and abs, dont know where to go from here. And the horn does work there on the same fuse
