Basically you line up the white mark on the crank pulley with the line on the timing belt cover, which is TDC. Then with the cam gears UP marker pointing up and the timing belt tensioner bolt loose, slip on the belt. tighten the tensioner bolt, rotate the crank ccw a few times to see if everything stays lined up. Then set the crank to TDC, loosen the tensioner bolt, rotate the crank ccw three cam gear teeth and retighten the tensioner. You should probably get a manual for the full details.
