Default twin turbo question

Ok, I'm supposed to be getting a honda civic in about a month and have been thinking about a turbo set up etc... I already have the motor for the swap its a b18 bottom with b16 heads etc..and gsr tranny. But I was looking and I saw a set of rx7 twin turbos on craigslist and was wondering if that set up would even be possible. Can anyone help me out?

if you can't answer that question then you have no business trying to build a twin turbo honda.

there are no readily available kits to my knowledge and it would be just plain stupid. it's been done, but whats the point?

I suggest reading the FAQ then it will answer most of your questions on turbocharging your car. It helped me alot when i first decided to go boost.

twin turbos are pointless look at all the supra and skyline guys are always taking of the twins and putting on a large single just put a quality single turbo on it and it will be easier and make good power

lol you picked the stupidest ? possible.... and no an ebay kit isnt a good idead other

figured i would get that one out of the way for you.... lol Dont take it personal

nothing wrong with a decent low priced set up you can piece together yourself

you might want to look into getting the engine built if this is gonna be a DD and you want to keep it for a while

not necessarily true.

highest hp supra is here in houston if i'm not mistaken running twin t88s? 1664hp? youtube it or streetfire "Big Red" owned by a middle eastern dude tommy banh built it or tuned it idk the details.
i think converting to single turbo on a fd you eliminate like 75 diff vacuum lines? just cleaner install
oem twins/sequential? they are just a hassle and imagine building an aftermarket mani/buying two bigger turbos for your already expensive to modify car.
single turbos on those cars are just easier/cheaper.

if a twin turbo setup is done right it's great but on a small displacement anything it's pointless unless going for bling/originality and not performance.

OP, you can piece together kits for pretty cheap, stay away from the crappier side of the ebay kits some stuff on there will work and is a cheap alternative to building an expensive turbo setup.

Only reason a TT setup on a civic would be worth it, is if you had such a large turbo, you needed a smaller one to help spool faster for low end power. Not worth it, unless you feel like dropping $20,000+ on your motor/setup.

There's a twin turbo K series eg running around. Think he used twin turbos from a greddy 350z tt kit.

Compound turbo setup! You get mad torque with that setup!
