the 5th gear was out of my 91 integra manual so i got another and changed it and the clutch. I have never had cable trans before the adjusting nut all the way out makes it like no clutch til the very end of the pedal. When i tighten the nut it makes more pedel but when going in to first gear then i push clutch all way down I have to back off of it for it to go into gear. Its like when you push in the pedal the gear entering zone is in wrong area what could this be or is there another way to ajust?

 

U Sure u didn't put in the Clutch Backwards or the Wrong Clutch? The 91 Integras are Small Spline and use different clutches than all the other integras. 92-00. As for the nut just adjust it until u have a about 3/4 of free play in the clutch.
