Default Alarm fuel kill problems

I cannot get my fuel kill relay to work. I have it hooked up to the alarms ground when armed wire but, when I purposely set off the alarm and try to start the car it still primes.

The only thing I can think of is that I have it wired wrong. In an attempt to save time I bought a pre-wired diode protected relay and harness. I included a diagram of it (just replace starter with fuel pump) It is the exact same as every other fuel kill diagram I could find online other then having a diode jumping pins 86 and 85.

Would this still work the same assuming the diode was facing the correct way? Is there anything else I should look for? Is it possible my alarms ground when armed output isn't working? I'm going to look for voltage on the orange wire when it's armed but other then that I can't think of anything.

Only way that this would work if you put the input of the of the fuel pump power to the side that controls 86 and 30. You have it back wards and the relay does not have any power to energize.

By the way. When the alarm is armed your not going to get any voltage. Its a ground while armed wire.
