people with skunk2 coilovers on 92-95 hatch i have questions.
how is the ride? is it bumpie? how much did you pay for them? is 150 a ok price for use ones? and what kind of shocks you got witht them??
I have 5 way tokicos and skunkworks coil overs and Im happy with them. People say that they are bouncy but I have never had any bad expieriences with them. They ve held up for four years now. 150 seems decent to me. People are going to tell you to get ground controls anyway on here.
I thought they were stiff until I switched to Tein HRs. The Skunks are not a smooth ride by any means, but they're definitely not the stiffest. If you want a smooth ride, go with something else.
I have a set w/Tokico non-adjustables. It's on 15in wheels, and set with about a 1 finger wheel gap, everyone that rides in my car says that it's smooth. It handles very well. 150 bucks is cheap
yea ima just get these until i have eough money for tein type flex. but if it dont come with shocks is 150 still a good price? o yea my brother hatch got the tein type flex and they are stiff as ***
With the Skunk2 rates if you get new stiffer struts it will ride and handle really well.
On stock struts you'd better be ready to buy new struts - they're not intended to handle such rates as the Skunk2s.

i got a set with integra spring rates for my ek but i havent had a chance to put them on yet. We pretty much have the same plan...just get something cheap until im done with my swap, then get some HA's if they still exist

i got the skunk 2 coils on my hatch with tockiko shocks in the front and i would have to say the ride isnt that comfortable. my ride sucks compared to ppl with cheap *** coils on their car. so i've decided to sell em and get some other brand.

damm i dont know if i should get them cuz i dont want a bumpie ride. also if it dont come with shocks is 150 a good price still?
$150 is a good deal, just dont throw them on top of oem shocks, those will NOT be able to dampen the springs and you will end up installing new koni shocks soon....

Ive had mine for 5 months using OEM shocks, and have no problems. Anywayz they're great, the ride isn't bad like others have said. The ride gets bumpy only on rough roads, but thats the same with all other coil-over sleeve kits.
you have to get shocks
get somthing mild like tokico blues
i have blues w skunk2 coilovers and i get compliments on how my car rides a lot
no bounce, not too stiff, i think skunk2 has made their springs stiffer now?
dunno

I have tokico illuminas (5-way's) with the skunk2's with the shocks set on 5. I like them alot, a little bumpy at times (not too bad) I like it.
Cliffs notes: tokico 5-ways + skunk2 coilovers = nice
