Default Tech edge wideband and s300 help please

I have an older Tech-edge wideband that came in my car and I am trying to sync it with s300 for datalogging. The wiring is ran properly to my knowledge, I am using the O2 pin on the ecu for input. The wideband that I have only has an RS232 jack for output and it says on their site that pin 7 is the one needed for output to log. Well I have ran the wire and I have turned everything on and set to the suggested settings in hondata and have been messing with the voltage offset and nothing is working. I have heard that I may need to run a ground wire from the output on the wideband but am unsure of which pin. I have searched the tech edge site and its kind of confusing to me. I believe its pins 5&6 are grounds but I am unsure of which goes with the O2 if it even does at all? You help is greatly appreciated!

You must use a 0-5 volt output from the wideband into an input on the ecu.
Read the Smanager help file.

I have already done this, I stated above that it goes from the output of the wideband to the O2 pin on the ecu. S300 is seeing the wideband, but nothing i do is making the 2 of them read the same.
