Default 1997 Honda Civic EX Help

So i was asked to help with installation of a BullDog key less entry system, somewhere along those lines i effed up. Now a friend of my friends cars is broken down and it is my fault. This seemed like the best place to come for some help regarding anything Honda. So heres the new issues that popped up.

When you turn the key to on the dash lights do not pop on. When key is turned to engage the starter absolutely nothing happens, all that seems to be working is the headlights, taillights, and brake lights. The owner of the car said he knows his O2 sensor is out but i dont have any reason to believe that this anything to do with this issue... Any ideas are greatly appreciated and i really need any help i can get here as i need to fix this car before as i feel as though i broke it, probably because i most likely did but still, so please if you have any info that will help me then post it up.

Thanks in advance...

if the alarm is installed in the car it could be numerous issues... was it basic or did it have remote start or ignition kill... i was a MECP certified install tech for best buy back in the day... How did u connect the wires did u strip and solder them or cut and use spade connectors or butt crimps or T-taps?? if there is an ignition kill the relay could be bad if not the entire brain could be bad or like u said could be as simple as blown fuse weather it be inline on the alarm system or in the fusebox on the car always check those first... If the alarm is installed correctly check for loose wires or connections.. check all the wires in the main loom to the ignition for constant 12v, accy. 12v(key in on position), and ground. was any thing connected to the clutch switch? there are nemerous things that could be causeing these issues start with the easiest and rule those out.. Good luck hope this helps..

Alternator fuse? I'd expect the dash lights to still work though. Have you tried the interior lights fuse under the hood too?
