How do you test if shocks are good?
what i think, when you push your shocks down it comes up slowly, dose that mean its bad? Or is that not the way to test shocks? Can someone expain it to me?
The best way is to get it on a shock dyno. That will give you an idea of whether the damping characteristics are where you want them. The operator of the dyno will most likely be able to tell you whether the shocks are done or not by looking at the shape of the dyno plot.
My understanding is that if the shock extends by itself after you compress it that at least means that it still has gas pressure, but there could be a myriad of other problems within the shock and it will still extend

Thats a question I need an answer too as well!!, when i push down on one of my shocks it comes up a little bit slower then the others, not by much but its a difference. Anyone know how much life I should have left?
