Default Thrust washers on a D16Z6

Okay so i was in my garage last night changing my Rings and bearings... I turned the crank and the Thrust washers fell out. I have searched and checked both of my books.. I have a pretty good idea of were they go.. But before i seal up my motor i want to make 100% sure and since i have never messed with those before.. Does anyone have a good diagram or something of some source to show me or explain to me were they go for sure please. Thanks in advance!

best i can give ya buddy. part #10. if you remove the crank you'll see indentations on the block side, cylinder 2, on either side of the main bearing. have the grooves pointing outwards.

I Slid them back in between the crank with the grooves pointing outwards.. I just don't think that there gonna stay. unless the main bearing gridle holds them in place? Does that do it? I just wanna make sure.. thanks for the help.

Yea the main cap definatly holds them in place, you should be all set.
And if you put some oil/assembly lube on them it will hold them in place way better when you put the crankshaft on.

+1 a little bit of oil on the block side of the thrust washers will hold them in place till you can get everything bolted up.
