Default sell an ITR swap for???

I have a FRESH ITR swap that I want to sell, but has so much going on, I dont know what is a reasonable price. The whole motor has under 5000 miles on it.
Here is the run down on the setup...

B18C longblock, built for safe 9000+ rpms and probably around 250whp.

HEAD:
TANKED JDM ITR head
mild P&P
TODA BUMPSTICKS Spec C cams
OMNI POWER supporting springs
OMNI POWER titanium retainers
5 angle valve job
OEM ITR valves
52mm TWM ITBs
Precision 400cc injectors
HYTECH replica header
B&M PURPLE fuel regulator
B&M fuel pressure gauge
JDM CTR valve cover
CRANE CAMS coil blaster
MSD 8.5mm wires

BLOCK:
TANKED B18C block
balanced and blued
JDM ITR pistons (p73)
ITR Rods
ITR Crank
ARP head bolts
ARP rod bolts
ITR water pump
ITR oil pump
ITR timing belt
SAMCO radiator hoses

TRANSMISSION:
ITR LSD tranny (under 15k miles)
ACT 12lb Flywheel
EXEDY Stage 3 Clutch

MANAGEMENT:
HONDATA S300
Mallory dual launch ignition box

ACC:
all brackets, AC, alternator and NRG oil catch can.

Have about $10000+ in receipts, but sold the hatch. I dont need this setup, so I figured Id look into selling it. Let me know what you guys think is reasonable.

The pic is with the SKUNK2 head package (almost as nasty) but with the whale ***** instead of ITBs.

somewhere around 4k provided you have receipts on the machine work and the engine has no issues. do you also have the ecu? that's a really large injector for the combo you have listed so it's mandatory that it be ran on an ecu tuned for them. maybe slightly more if the toda cams are real. i'd sell the itbs by themselves and the engine with a p73, skunk or edelbrock intake

I have ALL receipts except for the REAL TODA cams, bought from a fellow member here. ECU CONCERNS??? Its a previously virgin P28 5 speed with S300.

A stock ITR goes for $4000 +, how do you conclude this is worth that... if that at all???

As fas as issues, there are none except that it runs nasty... ReAL NASTY!!!

Just asking, but thanks for your input.

stock itr is worth 3500 at most and that's with everything from a jdm importer. you have a lot of nice parts i'd be tempted to sell separately. the itb's, the s300 and ecu and even the toda cams. slap itr cams back in, some stock 240 injectors and a plain manifold. the toda cams, s300 and itbs will probably fetch more sold separately. if you don't have itr cams i'm not sure i'd bother changing but built motors are harder to sell than stock ones unless you can prove clearances and compression. no one likes to gamble

So a beefed up one is only worth $500 more? Its in a running driving car now, Ill get a vid for the non believers, but the tranny is a fresh out the box OEM 4.4 LSD tranny. Try hard enough, you find one a dollar under $2000...ALONE. As far as going back to stock... All I have, besides the P73, is whats in the pic at the top. All top of the line after market parts.

Thanks sideways, but Ima have to disagree. Yes, put it back to stock, sell for $4000, part out the rest for a quicker return and call it good. However, Im not interested in tearing it down, shes too sexy!!!

Sadly, people buying B-series are mostly broke now-a-days....everyone with money goes K-series (or to some other make/model). So honestly, you'll never get what it is worth. $4k isnt right, but you will certainly fetch more if you part it...or atleast some of it. You can sell the ITBs for $1k by themselves, but sold with the motor will only add a couple $100s.

I know I will never see what was invested, but Im not going to drop it off on someones door step. i know thats not what your saying, but as I sit here and look over a $7600 receipt, I know that throwing the thing back to original is not an option. I do have all the original parts, but the least I could do is make it like it is in the pic... S2P intake, PRO 1 cams, Supertech valves, springs and tit retainers w/a big whale *****.

I DID FORGET TO MENTION THAT IT WILL BE IN A DECENT CONDITION 98 COUPE TO GET IT HOME!!!

you can start by listing it and see what offers you get. my only thought with making it stock is that it would be so easy to do. cams and an intake manifold basically make it stock with a more stable valvetrain. if you could get 2500-3000 out of it stock the rest of your parts would push you over 4000 when they all sell. the s300 and ecu will sell fast on ebay, same with the cams and itbs. if you're able to recoup 50 cents on the dollar you would be doing better than most

You must not have been modding cars that long, much less hondas. You dont get close to what you put in and if you think someone is going to pay 7600 for it you must be smoking dope.

Like everyone else said put it stock, you will end up selling it for 2500-3000 and sell the rest of the parts seperate.

Its as simple as that if you want money back dont put it into cars.

I dont recall ever saying what I "think" Ill get out of it, certainly not $7600. Thats what ONE of the receipts was worth. As far as modding cars, going on 16 years, just not to familiar with this setup. Ten years ago, it would have been worth gold, but things have changed. Half as much and get a K swap and be twice as bad.

K Series is the way to go these days, either way good luck with your sale I did not mean to sound harsh. The fact is B series motors arent worth much these days especially those that arent built for booat.
