Default difference between hydro and cable shafts?

building a lsv setup, was running SOHC only and now i need to know what the difference between the hydro and cable half shafts. i heard it was length then, the male and female teeths, clear things up for me. thankx guys.

Yes, the half shaft on the 94+ has a male end (female on the axle) and the 90-93s are opposite of that. However, from my understanding you can run the entire 90-93 setup on a 94+ or vice versa.
